No Breed of the week this week just a Featured pet.

I fell in love with this little girl on Friday and she's my project. So ANYONE who is interested PLEASE contact the Pound about her ASAP.

THIS is ROSE

Rose is #769 at the Mahoning County Dog Pound.

She is an adult female Yellow Labrador Retriever mix.

Rose is VERY sweet and VERY cute. She has the most beautiful eyes and is desperate for someone to save her from Euthanasia at the Pound. She walks well on lead, is laid back and gets along well with other dogs.

She came into the pound on SEPTEMBER 25 and is available for adoption or Euthanasia on October 1st.

Breed of the Week - Siberian Husky

Welcome to the seventeenth "Breed of the Week" post.

This week's breed is the Siberian Husky.

Every week a new breed will have the spotlight and the post will include a link to an informational site describing the breed, and a local adoptable dog of the featured breed.

If at all possible the dogs will be featured from the Mahoning or Trumbull County pounds.

They are both extrememly high kill shelters and if the dogs are not adopted they will 100% be put to sleep on their respective Euthenasia dates or very soon there after.

Please feel free to pass along any featured dog.

Did you know Siberian Huskies served valiantly in the Army's Arctic Search & Rescue Unit of the Air Transport Command during WWII and in the Byrd Antarctic Expeditions.

Roo is a handsome little boy with a steller personality. He loves people and has the most striking baby blue eyes you've ever seen.

This wonderful dog came in on SEPTEMBER 8 and is available for adoption/euthanasia on SEPTEMBER 12
